  • What time can I check-in?
    Check in is from 3pm - 6pm. If possible, please keep us posted on your eta. You will be greeted at the welfare hut next to the shower blocks.
  • What time is check-out?
    We ask you to be out of your tent and off site by 10am. Please email us to ask about late check out availability.
  • Is there parking available on-site?
    Yes, vehicles must remain in the designated private parking area. No vehicles are allowed beyond this point.
  • How do we find you?
    We are located a short distance from the A1 between Newark and Grantham and can be found on google maps via: Witham Grange Glamping, Doddington Lane, Dry Doddington, Newark, NG24 5JB ​What3Words: Ultra.Flat.Tigers
  • How many people do they sleep?
    Our 5m Bell Tents sleep four, there is one double bed and two single beds.
  • Is Bedding Included?
    Yes. Linen and warm blankets are included.
  • Do you have cots?
    No. You will need to bring your own travel cot where required.
  • Is there access to electricity in the bell tents?
    Yes the bell tents have power for charging devices etc.
  • What facilities are available?
    Each bell tent has a private lockable toilet and shower. There is also a communal cooking facility hut that must be kept clean and tidy by all guests.
  • Can I bring a heater?
    No heaters are allowed in the bell tents.
  • Do you have WIFI and power?
    Our site has WIFI throughout. We love it when you check in and tag us on socials @withamgrangeglamping. There are power sockets in the bell tents, communal cooking hut and shower blocks.
  • What are the toilets and showers like?
    Each bell tent has it's own separate lockable toilet and shower room a short walk away. You will need to bring toilet rolls, towels and toiletries for your stay. Don't forget your toothpaste!
  • Are there Baby Changing Facilities?
    Please let us know what you require and we will do our best to accommodate.
  • Do you have fridges?
    Yes in the communal hut you will find fridges where your perishables can be stored
  • What is in the communal cooking hut?
    You will find washing up facilities, fridges, microwaves, toasters, air fryers. There is also a BBQ available for use that can be organised via us. Please not portable bbq's are not permitted.
  • Do I need to bring crockery?
    We provide cooking utensils, glassware, crockery and washing up equipment for use in our communal area.
  • Where should I dispose of my waste?
    We ask all guests to respect the natural environment, dispose of waste properly, and maintain a peaceful atmosphere. There are waste bins provided adjacent to the car park.
  • Do I need a license to fish at the pond?
    Yes, an EA Rod License is required for all anglers.
  • Are children allowed to fish?
    Yes, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • What type of hooks can I use?
    Only barbless hooks are allowed.
  • Can I use keep nets?
    No, keep nets are not permitted.
  • Is night fishing allowed?
    No, night fishing is not allowed.
  • Can I swim in the pond?
    No, swimming is strictly prohibited.
  • What bait can I use?
    No hemp, pellet, or ground baits are allowed.
  • Can I take fish from the lake?
    No, all fish must be returned to the water immediately after catching.
  • What safety measures are in place?
    There are two life buoys around the pond for emergencies. These must not be moved unless in an emergency.
  • How many rods can I use?
    A maximum of two rods per angler is permitted.
  • Can I leave my rods unattended?
    No, all rods must be attended at all times.
  • Do I need an unhooking mat?
    Yes, unhooking mats must be used at all times to ensure the safety of the fish.
  • Where should I dispose of my waste?
    All waste should be placed in the waste bins provided adjacent to the car park.
  • Can I bring my own BBQ or fire pit?
    No, for safety reasons, only fires and BBQs set up by staff are permitted. We have a communal BBQ near the cooking hut.
  • Can I light a fire during my stay?
    No, the designated fire pit areas and communal BBQ must be lit by a member of the team and supervised at all times by an adult.
  • Are candles or incense allowed inside the tents?
    No, naked flames—including candles, incense, or gas burners—are strictly prohibited inside or within 3 meters of the glamping tents for safety reasons.
  • Are fireworks permitted?
    No. Fireworks are strictly prohibited due to the risk of fire and the potential danger to guests, staff, wildlife, and livestock.
  • Where is the fire safety checkpoint located?
    Our fire safety checkpoint is positioned at the main entrance of the site. Please familiarise yourself with it upon arrival.
  • What should I do in case of a fire?
    In the event of a fire, your first step should be to call 999 immediately and alert a member of staff.
